I feel that both of these images are just too busy. The first shot with the ripples in the water, the reflections of the ducks, the five ducks in tight formation in tight frame just makes a busy scene.The second one also is busy with the many geese, blurry tree trunk framing the left side, leaves of color scattered about the grass and also tightly framed makes it hard to focus in on something in particuliar. Just my feeling on it.

Well Gary, it appears everyone else who's seen these pictures agrees with you, cause you've been the only respondee;). Time for me to depart the premises for a while, go back to the digital darkroom, go out and shoot or just chill--I think I need a break.
