This is a very kool shot! I know how hard it is to take waterdrop shots as I spent hours one day doing that for a project that turned out very crappy.
What were you using as a background? I would like a smoother solid black backgroud w/o the color casts on it, though I don't know if that was intentional or not. What were you using for lighting?

The background was my kitchen sink, for lighting I use a SB600, the speed was about 1 second in which I have to wait for the droplet and shot the flash.
Very nice shot. I can't imagine how many shots it takes to get one so perfect. When I look at this, it seems like the droplet is hovering over the spoon, not falling. Almost like there is a magentic force between the two (I'm sure there probably is one according to physics, but you know what I mean ). The background colors are really nice. I only wish the droplet had a little more light. Overall, this is a great shot.
