    droopy wet flower..

I was in a long line at the Steak N Shake in the pouring rain. Looked over to my left and there was this wet hibiscus. Had my camera on the seat next to me, so why not? I've been trying to learn the best ways to make drops look good, so any sugg. would be nice. A while back, some guy use to post a lot of drops and I've looked for those posts to no avail. It was like, a drop on a spoon, a drop on the rim of a bowl, etc. All I remember about the advice is "turn on the water faucet". lol If anyone remembers where those posts are or who it was, please let me know.
    ~Thanks, Kit

    Hello Kit,

This one is looking terrific! It is so detailled and I like the effect of the droplets over the delicate flower.

I can't help you regarding your inquiry. I most likely wasnt hanging out here will these were posted.

    Regards

    Seb

Here's the only "drop" photo I've seen, although I haven't been here long. But check his gallery, maybe it's him?

No, that's not him, however that is a nice drop pic. Thanks for going through the trouble of looking that up. At the time I saw them, I was mildly interested, now I am more, so if anyone can point me to some info about this subject or to the actual posts I would be indebted.
Kelly, you're very generous with your interest in others.

Very nice Flower shot. I like that the drops look natural, not applied. Water drops on a dry flower never look quite right to me.
I don't know who you are talking about but I think the drops on your hibiscus benefit from a levels adjustmet. In the original the darkest areas are not very dark so the contrast between the areas within and immediately around the drops is not very high.

Here is one of the best waterdrop photos I've seen.

Thank you for the urls, those are great! I'm actually satisfied with the ones on this pic but want desperately to do a shot of just one drop.. you know, not on anything.. just in the air on on the rim of something. lol I'll try to do one to show you, but don't hold your breath waiting for it. Thanks Chunk, i like your ideas and especially your sense of hujmor.
