    drive home

Saw the sunset before getting home, and I had to walk back to shoot this

I'm not sure about so much street at the bottom, I have another shot closer to the roundabout, but the light in the sky is not nearly as nice

Probably have to clone the car at the right and do something about the crazy blue house at the left

    What do you think ?

Nice composition with great colors.. Seems like you could crop to take just under the tire of the car, then clone the car and house and it would be a nice pano. A little adjustment on the distortion would help also.

I dont think the road helps this one, the top 2/3 is where that best of this image lays. Those tall slender trees give this a cool off planet look, that circular thing surrounded by the red foliage could be a stargate...

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

    Re: drive home

I definitely see what the attraction was. On the other hand, I also see how "hand of man" - the roads, houses and such - can mess things up a little sometime - and perhaps, that is the statement this photo makes for me...I have another idea for a crop - try a portrait starting just to the left of the right front tree and placing the small arch with flowers in the rule of thirds bottom right intersection ...and then use the two bushes in the front as a front interest. Finally, try to perhaps kill the yellow stripe on the road (desaturating with a mask or similar may work) - so its not drawing attention.

I think I would crop off the front road. Also, it's a little dark for me and needs the distortion removed to straighten the trees. – TF

lovely scene. I wish I was there. man, to live in a place like that, u must be part of the cartell send me packages ;) haha

love the light HDR treatment, not over bearing. no real nitpicks in this, nor anyway i could think of improving it.

This looks so much better on the screen I'm on now, it was a little dark on the other. I would clone out the tree and the blue structure on the left. The road is growing on me, I like the faded/peeling yellow on the curb. If anything, its the 2 bushes and the little tree in the foreground that distract me.

    Re: drive home

Armando - A very striking sunset; it doesn't overwhelm you, just looks nice.

I think it's a good pic but it leans more towards the snapshot category (well done, though) than fine art, as the street, curb, various items in the middle ground just make it that way.

Nice HDR effect though. Looks very sharp, too.
