    Dripping Branches

"It's raining outside and I can't go out and play...." :mad2:

Decided to make the best of a rainy day by practicing with my 300mm out a window. Here's a couple shots I liked. What do you guys/gals think?

    Re: Dripping Branches

I really like the colors. Earth tones that all work well with each other. I like how the background is brighter than the branch with the droplets, esp on the bottom shot, which I feel is the stronger of the two. Too bad the branch and drops aren't a little sharper.. You could try sharpening with PS or related. But that might bring out some jaggedies or grain too. Worth a try though.

    Re: Dripping Branches

Thanks GB1 I know what you're saying about the bottom shot. I tried fixing it but, couldn't get it to come out better. Maybe it's just me The problem with that branch was that the right side of the fork was closer than the left side. So I could only get a section of it into focus. I tried playing with the aperture settings a bit to make it work but, I didn't like how the background came out on those Thanks again for your comments
