I am sorry to say that I think neither of the images work very well.
First one, there is no point of focus, hard to see the bird. Unless maybe the theme of the photograph is spot the bird from the "camouflage".
As closed up / macro photography is not my main interest, I can't comment too much for the second and third picture except that I found that the images needs more sharpening and noise reduction.
And also thought that the leave in the second image is distracting the overall composition
Last shot is wonderful, great color contrast and beautiful composition
2 has japanese feel , I also like it, love the narro dof
1, the bird is sharp. And nice composition, but overall difficult to see the bird
What I'm about to say is a "pure joke" and has nothing to do with Don's shots, so I beg you not to take it seriously.
