    Re: doubles, triples

the first one is interesting. I feel it's too dark though. I sort of want to see the silhoutted back side of the mailboxes a bit.

The second one really doesn't do much for me. What is it?

The top shot of the mailboxes does seem too dark, but the framing is excellent. I also am wondering what the objects are in the bottom shot.

i like the red in the first shot, but feel both are dark .On first shot the background is not really important to the image i would fill in all the trees and make it all black as on the right side of the image.

The 2nd shot is two fans in the back of a resteraunt. Thanks for your opinions.

mailboxes- maybe if you decide to do abstract night shots you should use a tripod and a slower shutter, i like the sillottes (so if you underexposed it a little you can get those back) but if you had more contrast between the white and the black it would look a lot better.

nice compostion though, you have textures, rhythm of patterns, silhouettes, and a little rule of thirds. Just need to bump the brightness up a bit.

I definately like the mailboxes more, but like the other posters said a little bit brighter would be nice. I'm still tryin to figure out the second one also. It almost looks like it could be the bells in some sort of alarm system?
