    Double the lens's...

Just an idea that I had today. Thought the magnifying glass made an interesting effect.

    Hello,

I wish that everything was a tad sharper (a slight unsharp mask would do) but I like the concept and the execution. Perhaps, it might worth to crop the dark area in the upper left corner but other than that, I like it. The tone suit the scene well too.

Very interesting and I agree with what Seb has already said. I would like to see the same photo with less DOF so that the part not under the magnifying glass is sharp. Definately get rid of the black box in the corner.

The only other nitpick (and I mean nitpick) is the dent in the background which adds nothing to the photo so perhaps a smoother surface as a background.

Are you going to do other subjects along the same theme? I think you should.

A girl in my photo class used a magnafying glass to help her take some "macro" shots since she didn't have a lens that could focus as close as she wanted to. I like the idea and my even try it myself one of these days.
