Neat shot Keltic...I'm sure this looks great on print. If the shot is sharp on print, the textures would be bang on. I might crop off the bottom, as it's slightly overexposed in the one area and maybe chop off the bushes on the right, but other than that, well done.
Keltic, was it your intention to allow the image to get so blued out? Because I'm just not feeling it. And 400 UC shouldn't do that since it's a daylight film. Were you out of direct sunlight when you shot this? Or perhaps the sun was at some wierd oblique angle and you got some wicked flare?
I like your composition and all the great textures, but I really feel that this would benefit greatly from a warming filter and some more contrast. Thankfully, those are two simple steps in PS and they won't ruing your shot with a "digital" feel.
Peer through the scope with an amoral code...

I was in the direct sun light ... there fore the area just in front of the step is over exposed.
I was using a polarizing filter (- 1.5 EV) and I was shading the lens with a hand held cardboard. My hood will not fit on over the Minolta Autopole ... see photo of my no frills 48 year old baby.
