Wow, What a nice image. Sharp as a tack, exposed well and great subject and composition.

Not only a very good shot but unusual as well. Least I've never seen one like it.

    Re: Walk on water

Great shot! This is a great demonstration of the optical effects of waters surface tension - the surface tension the wasp is causing is creating circular shadows. If I had one tiny nit-pick, I would like a bit more room on the bottom underneath his shadow. If you don't have any more on the original, the background works well enough you could even clone/heal the space in. Other then that I can't think of anything else, great job.

Outstanding job! I also think it would be nice with just a little more room on the bottom, Jeff

Good as stated. Light a bit harsh but good capture.

I was thinking the exact same thing, but it doesn't take away from the picture at all. If I had a full-size version of this picture, it'd be a wallpaper on my desktop or a print on my wall. VERY nice picture.
Please feel free to edit any of my photos I post as an addition to your critique. I will specifically ask if I do not want a photo altered on a per photo basis. Thank you for your input in advance.

    Re: Walk on water

Great capture, very interesting shadow, I do agree though, give some more space on the bottom.

As far as the harsh light is concerned, I am thinking that the shadow probably wouldn't have happened like this in softer light. IMHO the shadow really seals the deal on this image, I think the harsh lighting on the subject is a fair trade off for this amazing shadow.
Please ask before editing my photos, I'll say yes

I like to take the pictures...
