    Re: Door

Good subject. I think it needs to be wider to set its context...not too much so the viewers imagination is tweaked but more than here to give it something to go with.
Door seems to lack any detail..perhaps focus is off a hair?

    Re: Door

I don't like the lens distortion in this image and that you were not squared up with the door so the edges don't line up with the frame.
    No, I DON'T need that.

    Re: Door

I found the distortion interesting.....LOL! There was not anything else around the door worth of including in the pic.In front of the door there was a steep incline so that perhaps gives the illusion off edges dont lining up? I liked the textures of the rust and the mold stains. This door is very near the beach and is subjected to that harsh climate.

    Here is the color version:

    Re: Door

I think if you could make an ordinary door look extraordinary in a photo, it would be great. But I'm afraid that's not the case here.

    Re: Door

A tough subject you chose. It does not offer much and trying to get it to be interesting is a hard one. the distortion could work but i think ultimately you have cropped too tightly on the subject.
The color version definetely is much more interesting.
