    Re: Dolphin

This is a good capture. Your white balance appears to be way off, the whole photo has a bluish cast. Watch your horizon this one tilts to the left, with an action shot like this it's hard to get it right in the camera, but this is easily fixed in post processing.

Wow, fantastic catch indeed! Not just the dolphin, but getting the boat in the shot as well. I do agree on the edit, but you achieved a great moment.

Yep nice shot. Do what you have to to take this in Raw though. Lets you muck with the WB and such after the fact.

    Re: Dolphin

Great moment here that you captured, Danny. Having the boat with the birds sitting almost as if watching the dolphin show is really enjoyable.
EOSthree is right about your WB being off, and the correction he made looks good.
Well done, Danny. Getting the right moment is more important than most everything else, but having the other stuff like clarity, composition, lighting adds alot. you have many of these in this photo.
The only little bit of something that i wish were different is that you had panned your camera a bit more to the right to get some more boat and move the dolphin into the left area of the frame and out of center.
    well done.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

    Re: Dolphin

Yes, great catch here. I like the color adjustment, but I would also crop almost the entire left half of the photo out, as it adds absolutely nothing to the image and makes it seem unbalanced. I like how the boat is slightly blurred.
