H Herriot,
The multicolored rooms are very eyecatching. The repeating grids but with different colours break the monotony element. I just wonder what the shot would be if there were a few persons in the balcony. Thanks for sharing.

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
I'm looking at this and thinking this can't be. It's very surreal and a great find. I too was looking at the chairs and a lot of them are in the exact same position. Very nice shot! Though I agree, I think one person standing in one of those balconies would've probably took this shot to another level.

Well spotted. I agree one person lounging in the lower right would have made it stand out even more.
However it works as is

Thank you all for your comments. I was particularly drawn tot he unifomrity of the sun chairs and also like the light in the lowerleft hand area of the photograph. I was hoping to get some figures in the scene but I think the hotel was pretty empty (hence the undisturbed chairs!), thanks again for the input.
I think this is about the light, not about the people.
I would find people distracting unless very carefully placed in the image.
Personally I'd like to see a touch more symmetry in the top right/bopttom left with more colour in the top right.
But that's nit-picking.
