    Re: Dirty Dirt Bike

Paula, what I like a lot about this is how you took the critique and information you received here and try to put to use and came back with a much improved photograph.
The subject is good and gritty.
The second shot is really sweet. You caught great lighting, good contrast and good detail. I like the square crop here and it works very well.
I love the effect of that rear tire looking as if its popping outta the picture. By getting very close you achieved that 3 dimensional effect as well as isolating the bike and including no distractions. You went with the right angle for this one.
This is fine photography, good work.

Nice editing! From a dirty dirt bike into a nice good object of photography. Anybody know where to find step-by-step tutorial about taking pic on moving objects? thanks!

Lol.......I was afraid emergency services would show up wondering why I'm rolling around on the ground in the barn. It wasn't pretty.

    Thanks, Dray!!

Yes, C.L., I DO still feel out-classed by my camera.........but it's not over yet.

It's hard to keep up with all that goes on here at PR and carry on with life in real time as well -- thanks for your inspiration and help getting "stickied."

    Re: Dirty Dirt Bike

I really like this shot. It has a lot of distracting stuff around it, but the angle and title on the original creates a larger than life feeling, almost like it's in your living room. The second shot is better isolated from its surroundings, though the angle is funner on the first.

    Re: Dirty Dirt Bike

Wow, the second take on it really pops in a way the first does not. Definitely better. I was going to suggest a color gradient for the first shot, but this is perfect.
