Did I see something or...?

Spent the day at the fair with not many good results but tried to capture the angles and shades of color or lack there of. This is under the escalators in the Pavillion.
I can play with this 'til my head spins and get interesting results no matter how far I push stuff. Other than re-sizing this only has a bit of hue change from 4550 to 4400 and the exposure bumped from 0 to .45. Some sharpening also.

I blame the people who did the sheetrocking. The people who did the floor are awesome. The photography is exceptional. The sheetrocking throws the whole thing off. I would fix it. Its a great shot Frog, my first response was designed to make you do just that, fix the sheetrock. You could do it easily on an enlarger.

I like this shot. I like the way the floor leads the eye into the picture and the subtle reflections with all the different angles. I wonder how this would look from a lower perspective to emphasize the depth. Have you tried this in black & white?

Thankyou for your comments though I don't know what you mean by 'fix the sheetrock'.
I may just have to go back just to reshoot this and try different focal points and the lower perspective mentioned.
I'm also bothered some by the shiny place on the floor but don't know what to do about it.
You can just see what I think is a wet floor sign behind the post and I'm wondering if I pulled it out and made it part of the pic if it would give it that focal point.
I really am attracted to all the lines and angles.
Getting long winded here but I started playing with it in b&w and then did a curves adjustment and ended up with this which isn't anything like what I usually do but I kind of like it.....what do you think?

Frog, I can remove that image for you if you still wish, but personally I like it. The "noise" on the back wall looks to me like the texture on the wall only now emphasized. It appears to be something other than sheetrock, perhaps a marble slab? Either way, it does not look to me like there is anything wrong. I like the dark shadows and the light from the fixture and other sources. There is a strong feeling of depth and mystery here. . .something that was lacking in the first post.
