A very interesting shots, and as always, your black and white is amazing. That centre tree in the background, I wouldn't mind seeing it more to the right, as it kind of crams the middle and the left hand side. Also, the leafs that just seem to find there way in on the top centre could be cropped out.
Very nice shot... I like it quite a bit but it seems a little too contrasty to me... But I'm a black and white dunce, so take my opinion with a large grain of salt
Curious shot, makes you think. I agree with Cara that it would be a little easier to see with less contrast - I guess the discarded part is the dead branch on the ground? The background fading to infinity creates depth. Nice job making this work.
