I like your pooch, although he doesn't look all that devilish. He looks like it's time for some food. Nice effect with adding color to a B & W image.

This is so cool, I think I might prefer both eyes blue but it is different this way.
THis photo shows the dog's personality well...

Hi Welcome to the Critique Forum!

That's a good looking dog. I think you have done a nice job with the de-saturation and selective color. The muted tones and near colorless background make the focus all about the eyes. I assume this dog really does have one blue eye. There seems to be a weird blue/green shading under the chin that I would try to fix and the crop seems a bit awkward; was this cropped from a larger image or in camera?

Yes, those are his real eyes- he's half Husky.

The pic was actually a color pic that I converted to bw and used the history brush to bring back his colors with.

I cropped the pic in photoshop to 8x10. Do you think it would look better with more background?

The original pic looked more like this one. I like his "pose" in this pic better, but it was slightly out of focus.

I would try a vertical crop if you have the room. On the whole I think you've done a good job considering the lighting of the scene and that you were shooting through a fence. Nice catch.
