    Denver

a few more shots from my shoot in denver. I have no idea what that thing is, but its cool so i took a few shots of it.

I don't want it, I just need it...to breath ...to feel ...to know I'm alive.

good composition, I like the distorted effect and the motion of the train(?) The thing is very cool indeed, I do find the crane(?) a bit distracting though.

I love how the lines from the fence lead to the thing, which explodes into many lines that force the eye through the rest of the picture, very pleasing.

Nice and wide, but IMO not quite wide enough, next time, if you're up to it, take 3 or 4 shots to capture the whole scene and stitch them with the computer, there's some cool programs that do this automatically. *(autopano-SIFT, paired with Hugin and Emblend is my favorite)
--Great color and lighting. Good choice to center, and the person on the bench adds a lot.

    Re: Denver

Fun shots! But I always love night photography.

The top one's train streak is neat but wish there was more color there. Unfortunately, the rest of the photo doesn't compliment it, and the thing above the streak is neither in or out of the shot.

The second shot is the best. But I wish there was some fireworks going off in the top right area. Can you add some?!

The bottom one has potential. But somehow the edges being clipped like that hurts it. Perhaps you should therefore exagerate that by cropping out the left and right sides a little, say 15% on each side comes off. That might work (?? never know til ya try).

I think the second shot is the strongest due to it's abstract quality of the wires stretching throughout. Could have used a bit more at the bottom to "ground" the scene better. I lie the third as well, and although I agree with Mr. Yuck here about the pano approach, I think it works well as it is. A little more bottom too? yeah, but still interesting and overall aesthetically pleasing.
