Idezio, I'm sorry that no one has posted any critiques to this shot yet, because the technical merits to it are very positive. The highlighting and color and the three-dimensional shading are all very nice looking. Where you excel in presentation, however, you fall a bit short in character. This is unfortunately a little too presentational for my tastes. To me, it doesn't look like a creative shot, but rather a picture from a Crate and Barrel catalog. I think maybe some more daring choices in composition and focus would improve it quite a bit. Or maybe the Crate and Barrel folks are hiring! You can use me as a reference... ;)

I like this one, but not quite as much as the picture of the peaches... I don't get the sense of texture that I did with the other photo. The coloring is quite nice, and focus is very sharp. Technically, it's a great photo, but I still prefer the peaches... they just looked tastier.
