    Deer picture.

    Did not realy go hunting for this deer picture could not realy find a nice place to take a photo of her .Cant C all of her legs there was a little hill in front of her. But next week i hope to take a few more photos of deer ,hope i can get some good ones

    I like the first photo the best of the two just because you are zoomed in more. I think you need to crop this image a lot tighter tho. The trees in the BG make the image way to busy for me. Also the image looks a little soft, but that could be from the deer moving. I think you have a great exposure in the first shot as well. Shooting with lots of snow can be tricky but you managed to keep the snow white, and keep the detail in the snow as well. Nice work.

    Yes it was getting ready to leave in a big hurry , there was a big transport truck coming just aroud the corner .
    Photos were taken at about 250 feet i could not get in any closer the deer was quite nervous , but like i said in the original post im gonna try & get some better ones in the following weeks

    My thoughts exactly. A nice tight crop would be perfect for this picture.

    Knight, deer are woodland creatures. I personally expect to see some evidence of this around them in a photo. To me it provides a natural framing and a tie in to their enviornment. Obviously you want it to be a complimentary as possible to the photograph, and I think this last one is a pretty close on that -- I think it looks quite nice.
