    Deep in thought

Here is one from today. My girlfriend deep in thought lol or maybe shes day dreaming lol.

I know the sky is blown out in the right corner, but I was shooting directly into the sun.

I like her face and pose but it gets lost against those bright spots.
Maybe someone good with p.p. work can give you some pointers on editing.

Frog, I am still new to editing. I don't know all of the tricks of the trade yet!

Feel free anyone, to edit this to fix it up.

    Re: Deep in thought

    I'm using photoshop elements 6
Here is a real basic edit. I went to enhance, adjust lighting, shadows and higlights.
I lightened the shadows, darkened the highlights though they won't darken enough, and adjusted the mid tone contrast.
You could also clone or paint over the too bright sky, hot spots in lawn, and path. I tried a little but its past my bedtime and that part would take some skill and time doing a little here and a little there.
Mind you this is very basic and could be done much better but it gives you an idea.

Do you have the raw file? If so, there are like 8 fstops of exposure level. You could completely alter the tonal relationship between the foreground and the background.
