    John, this is very interesting. I really like the desaturated background and the basic composition. I think that the nose/guns of the airplane should/could remain in color but must be reduced in saturation. As it is now it seems to look like an artificial object placed over the photo. reducing the saturation will help blend it into the image, as it should be. Great creativity, as expected from you.

    Thanks Gary. Believe it or not, I didn't increase the saturation, but upon further review, I see what you mean. I'll see if I can desaturate it a bit.

    Try feathering your paintbrush on the edges to get rid of the extremely sharp edge of the coloring, it will help to make it look more natural. The desaturation looks better.

    My suggestion was going to be to bring in a bit of the background in color but keep the nose as the most colorful so that it's almost a fade in (or fade out depending on what direction you're going I guess)
