    Dancer,

How you feel about it should not be influenced by what anyone says. Here or otherwise. If you like it and it makes you happy for accomplishing what you had intended to achieve, who cares what people think.

Keeping that in mind, and as this is critique forum I will tell you the exposure appears about right, colors are pleasing; you used a tripod which is a very good thing, the only nick on composition would be to have widened the shot to include the entire ridge line in the dirt along the left frame, currently it darts in and out of the image; I like the reflections. And I like very sharp images, which you have here. Overall, seems ok to me. Now, what do you think?

I like it a lot, you have a lot of elements leading the viewers eye into the image which keeps them looking so they get to see the nice colors and those stars.

    Good one.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Dang, looks like Los Angeles. Nice stars in the sky. I can't help wonder what this image would look like w/o those telephone lines though?

It would be the same, only without the telephone lines.

IMO, they add a nice visual cue to the image.

I like this one also ... my only complaint is the horizontal crop is too tight for my tastes.
