DC Lunchtime Walk.

I work a couple of blocks from the National Mall. Wednesday I went for a lunchtime walk.

I truely enjoy working in DC.

My favorite of the group is the reflected monument. Love the way the reflection looks truly disembodied from the obelisk. The clouds look like they are out of a painting.

Second favorite is the monument with those maples in front, although this image seems a little "stubby" probably due to the dimensions of the crop and the reduction to be posted. Looks like it was a good lunch.

Good walk. I envy your location. You do a good job of finding fresh ways to look at some of the most photographed real estate in the world.
I especially like the leaf and foot.

All of these look very good to me, MB1. I especially like the leaf on the statues foot. As Chunk said, good fresh takes on some much photographed subjects. Did you get to eat?
