    Daydreamer

Just snapping some shots of my kids in the back garden when, all of a sudden, Wesley sat at the picnic bench, folded his arms and went off in a world of his own lol.
    I couldn't resist!

    Canon EOS350D
    50mm 1.8 MKll lens

WOW! Gorgeous shot. You couldn't have posed it that well if you tried. He looks so deep in his own world. The eyes are sharp and the fact that you caught him looking off camera just fantastic.

If I had one minor pick, it would be that his hands a little out of focus. Don't know how bright it was out there, so you may not have been able to adjust your DOF very much, and it's a very minor pick at that. Overall, I love the photo.

The lighting wasn't very good at all and I was losing light fast.
I didn't have time to change my settings. Wesley only sat there like that for a second so I had to snap it quickly. He's a real whirlwind and incredibly hard to capture so I got a lucky shot here

In that case, IGNORE my little nitpick... you saw a fantastic shot, you composed it well, and you grabbed it with what lighting was available. That's exactly what a photographer is supposed to do.

The fact that his eyes are real sharp really works for me. I think the shalow DOF works here drawing attenion to his gaze.
You have to wonder where his little mind was. I love the shot.
