    I was out with the kids and did some shooting, what do you think?

    Nice portrait, esp the first one. But her face and eyes aren't sharp enough for me. That's the first thing that one looks at in a people shot, they should be sharp.

    Nice colors with the girl in the towel, but the sky looks bleak and overcast. Was it really like that? Can you "brighten" up the backgound a little? Might make it more cheery...

    The first picture works very well. It looks as though you captured her character but you could add a lot more to the image with some PP work, A levels adjustment maybe a curves adjustment and a little shapening would help this a lot. I bet the picture is right out of the camera?
