Trying some macro photography with my new tripod/head. I see that other people put C&C welcome in their posts...if that means Comments and (constructive) criticism...then go for it!
Thanks for the feedback. I just bought a 40d and switched off of film. What a difference. I can review these and go back out today and shoot it all again if I want to.
I like these. I like your approach at what is an ordinary subject brought back as abstract art. Great color. If I had to critique anything it might be that I feel #1 and #3 are a bit tight in crop but otherwise very good.
Great color and very good use of DOF. My only suggestion would to watch where you (have to) clip off the stems for some of them seem clipped, where others look too close to the edge of the frame. Nit picks ..

I think these are very nice images. I was eying up lilies everywhere I went today so I could try to get some shots like this. I didn't have time to take any photo, or pick any lilies to take home though. Maybe tomorrow...
