    A Day At The Beach

I took this one late last summer. I'm really kind of unsure if it works, because I'm thinking it could be cropped differently or maybe I was too far from the folks in the foreground. Any help?

Actually you pretty much have nothing but sand in the foreground; those people are in the mid-ground with the water, far shore and sky as the background in this image.

It really does need something in the foreground.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Looks like a nice pleasent day at the beach, exposed well and the composition looks ok too. It does look a little grainy like it might be film?

MB...you're right....maybe a tighter crop eliminating a bunch of that sand. Thanks.
Greg.....no, it's shot with the D70, so I must have messed up in pp.

I would crop at bit of the bottom sand area off. It also has two groups of people on the sides but nothing in the center, which makes it seem a bit off composition-wise.

Somehow the shot looks like a vintage shot Nice..
