    Darkening outskirts.

Outskirts of Santa Rosa CA, 2/28/06.

Been having some stormy weather, in fact, there was a tornado warning 50 miles away from here in the sacremento area this morning. Around here, some mild flooding (so far..) Severe weather alert is off my taskbar at least ;)

    Mr Yuck -

Nice capture. I wish there was more happening in the shot's forground, not sure what ... but something. It reminds me of a rural spot out in the deep south (Georgia, etc). You dont get many tornados in Cali -- PHOTO OP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

Here I go again---you must think I'm pickin' on ya;)
I think a crop off the bottom (I know, again with the cropping) would lower the horizon line and add more oomph to the picture....plus the bottom inch or so is really dark. I think such a crop makes the sky more visually appealing.

    you mean like this?

This is just a quick MS paint crop and I think you're right. I took off a little from the right to get rid of the tail end of that SUV too

    uh... like what?

i think this shot wouldve been awesome with a slower shutter, and like they said... a higher crop. but still, i like the colors in the sky.
