    dark stairway

I tried to experiment with night photography and did a little post production in iPhoto. Can you guys give some advice and what kind of post-production software do you guys use on a macbook pro? Thanks a lot

    Re: dark stairway

    ube,

i too have a MBP and use it for post on my photographs. iphoto does have some fun features but it is not a very powerful program. I recently purchased creative suit premium cs2 for it. It does not run native on the new intel macs that we have, but it still works fine. Granted it is probably not as fast as aperture is being native and all. but with photoshop, illustrator, and bridge i really don't think you can go wrong.

it also depends on what you plan on doing to your photographs. if all you want is a good way to cataloge and make some pretty normal changes then aperture will work great and super fast. If you want to be able to do more i would suggest photoshop and the appropriate suit for your needs. Anyways, just my .02 cents. good luck!
