hmm, I think to make the house really stand out, I would crop a bit off the top. that's a lot of empty blue sky that i don't see as really adding too much to the photo. but that's a gorgeous house!!

Interesting shot Keltic. I like the blue sky, but I just wish you had included more breathing room on the left hand side. Other than that, nice shot and a beautiful house.

You did a good job in conveying the grand scale and architecture of the house. I like the angle. The house itself seema a tad bit soft, perhaps from the scanning process. I agree that the house is just a little cramped on the left. But not bad.

Now, if there was just a horse or two or even a horse and buggy in the front of the house...!

Neat looking house. Always wondered where Ol' Daniel hung out.

This is a great example of where a centered image would work wonders. A vantage point from an angle that captured the house corner on could also make a good image. That way the wrap around of the porch could be better appreciated and the widow's walk would add to the overall complexity of the house.

Looks like you've either got some UV haze going on or a little fogging or something on a lens? Could be focus, but at the aperture you were using I doubt it. The polarizer enhanced the blue sky but it may be the problem. Some of the polarizers 'film' surface actually degrade the image.

Would like to the see the other photo you posted. A couple of us noted that the pic was not loading.

Looking forward to more. We need more MF/TLR posters!
