    Dandelion

It's been sort of rainy today, so this dandelion wasn't completely open all the way...

    Re: Dandelion

I find the center of the dandelion is soft. I always fight the DOF, my old Olympus it was easy but with the D70......

    Re: Dandelion

May I post a dandelion here as well, you have a nice shot and I think your picture will stand up well to a tad of competition, or is that 'not done' here ???

The colours are so vibrant and beautiful. I love the dark green background against the yellow. Makes the dandelion really stand out. Awesome capture. I never realised dandelions were so beautiful. Thank you for opening my eyes.

    Re: Dandelion

Great shot. The colors are beautiful, that yellow really pops off of the green background. The centre of the dandelion is soft, but it still works for me. Great positioning of the flower in the lower corner and wonderful eye! Well done!

    Re: Dandelion

Thank you, freygr, Kizz, Alison & Jared, for your feedback on this! I'm still working on getting the right parts of the flowers sharp and such...I'm glad the softness of the center doesn't completely detract here.
Kizz...I don't know what the general guidelines are for the critique forum, as far as same type pics...but we could definitely start a thread in viewfinder for dandelions. It's certainly the season for it!

    Thanks again, all...
