    Dancer @ Canada Day Celebrations

I was at the side of the stage when I caught this dancer - what do you guys think? Thanks.

I like this image. I like how it really depicts the movement of the dancer, but at the same time uses good stop-action. I would like to see a few possible things though (just my personal taste). First, I would have liked it if the dancer's face was turned more towards the camera (I know it's too late for that though). I think it the image would have a little more impact and engagement. I also think that the saturation of the blues and yellows could be increased a little bit. Also I think a little bit more contrast would also be effective.

To get the shadows on the dress and her body, it has to be shot from the side.
But to get her face, since she's spotting towards the audience, you have to be in two places at once

    Thanks guys for the comments.

Both of you mentioned the face, I wish the face could have been more visible too - basically the gal was twirling around a lot and I think this was the best shot I got, I know I rattled off a few frames in a row but I think some were out of focus and/or the dress wasn't extended as nicely.

As far as the colours, that's just me I think - I'm a klutz with doing anything after the fact .... meaning, I am a klutz with graphics programs including the program I used to scan images from my negatives scanner (I haven't touched the default settings). If I go to the photo lab and get a print, I'm sure those guys will give me a much nicer looking image in terms of the colours.
