    Daisy

    And you thought this was a picture of a flower I took this picture for a family member back in the fall. Comments and critiques are appreciated as always.

    BTW Daisy is the name of the horse.

    Interesting shot. Everything seems a tad soft, but I'm sure that's just the jpeg compression. To make this shot truly perfect you would just have to some how eliminate the barbed wire, and then that would be a great shot!

    Thanks for the comments Jared. It probably could have used some USM before posting, the original was much sharper (you are right about the jpg compression). One of these days I would like to be good enough to PS out the barbed wire (or better yet, take the shot without it in there in the first place .

    The barb wire doesn't actually bother me as much as the fact that it looks like the poor thing's got no rear legs! These are things you want to look out for, just as you would look for branches, etc sticking out of people's heads.

    Otherwise a very nice shot - I particularly like the muted colors and softness of the background trees.
