We have had very smokey skies lately due to Everglades fires...and the sunrises and sunsets have been spectacular.

jk, I'm surprised nobody's commented. I like the framing on this, and the muted ball of the sun really works here.

yeah..well..cool thing about these is thats exactly how the sun has been looking...most PP has been on trees...I dont exactly love it either.

J - I love the sun. Seems like a dreaamy FL night. Unfortunately, the foreground trees don't match up to the sun as far as interest/color/etc.. to me, they are more in the way than complementary. Try an experiment where you darken them to black, see how it looks. I'd also 'move' (PP) the sun to more the upper right corner area so that the branches wouldnt be so close to obscuring the sun.

I like how the colour of the trees just bleeds into the picture to compliment the sun which is splendid.

Its a shame the sun wasn't a tad higher to give a bit more separation with the trees.

Nice capture though. Hope your not affected by the fires.
