    The Cutting

    From the wedding I attended a few weeks back. Never tried this before, so advice or suggestions are welcome.

    The orange/peach & white colors are really pretty in this, and I like the reflection of some of the decorations in the knife. I think I would like to see more of the cake in this shot though...

    I know what you mean Emily....I would like to have gotten more of the cake. I was sitting down and someone said the couple was cutting the cake, so I had to rush up and try to capture the moment. I wanted to make sure the hands and knife were in focus. I think if I'd waited another second or two there'd have been more cake in the shot. Live and learn .
