    CU shootout

    There's a pond on CU campus around University Ave, and these were the result of my stroll through there.

    Wow! I can't find anything to critique about either of those. They are both beautiful.

    Great catch on the dragon fly and I like the tone of the b&w shot. It would be interesting to see what would happen with a bit more of the second creature on the second shot but overall I enjoyed both - with a slight preference to number 2.

    Great Micro shoot of the dragon fly, with good DOF also. Boy those are hard to get a good photo of.

    Ha! Luv the squirrels shot. The expression on the main character's face looks like some future Pixar animation film fellow. You should send this to them and suggest it.
    The dragonfly shot is also nice but I find the squirrels photo so good that it overwhelms it by comparison.

    Thanks, yeah I was a bit disappointed on the composition. But they were scurry around.
