    Crystal Jar

    [FONT=Arial]
    I look this picture one afternoon when I was sitting at my computer table near the window.

    Look at the focus, depth of field, constrast of colour and brightness, and the exposure that makes a iteresting photograph for the learners. Shot in Sony DSC - V1. This photograph is taken with Manual Exposure, F-Stop F/5, shutter speed 1/25, Pattern Mettering, and No flash or exposure compensation. To bring out life from such a simple composition is the aim of this picture.

    Feedbacks are most welcome.

    Thanks

    The comb...

    Welcome to PR.com!
    I hope you take advantage of the wealth of information here.

    I am not quite sure about your photo.
    The comb and the box in the lower right corner are distracting, afterall it is in the foreground and is kind of begging for attention.
    I'd recommend you be a bit more aware of what you see through the viewfinder.
    The reflection seems a bit too hot too, which is also rather distracting.
    The little details can make or break a photograph.
    Keep posting!
    Good Luck!

    Thanks for comments

    Thanks for your comments. Yes I also find the box and comb bit distracting. Can you tell me what you mean by color feeling hot? The picture has a natural blue tinge. I think you should feel cool? Please explain me about the warm contrast in photographic language.

    I believe by hot he refers to the exposure of the photo, not color cast. Notice how white that area of the photo is
