    No crop.

They're both great captures. I'm just more drawn to the larger uncropped versions. The top one's crop isn't bad IMO but I would include more of his arm on the right. The bottom crop isn't as good, seems clipped off and also shows the blur.

    Re: Crop or no Crop

I would leave the first one as it is, uncropped. The car in the bg and the overall placement of the rider in the comp makes for a very strong image. The second image benefits from the tight crop because of the focus on the riders face and energy. The yellow tape in the bg of the full image seems to get in the tangle with the yellow bike. I dunno, I just feel greater impact with the crop on that one.

First image: As a standalone picture I'd prefer it uncropped. If you were making it the cover a magazine, for instance, the immediate intensity of the cropped version would work well.

    Both are good.

Second image: Not crazy about this one. The uncropped version is sort of "meh." The composition of the cropped version is good, but all the feature outside of the rider's face are out of focus are blurred. Even his face appears a little soft. When you crop it in close like that, all those flaws seem to stand out more.
