Peaceful and serene. That's the first thing that comes to my mind. The exposure looks good, maybe just a tad underexposed on the dock and the bench, but that's better than having the sun and sky blown out. I think you managed to get a good balance in a high contrast scene. Good work on that.

I agree with FadderUri. This is a very peacefull image and it reminds me of a recent vacation. The dock leads my eye to the left, and then the sun pulles it back across the image to the right... not sure how I feel about that, seems a litte distracting to me for some reason, but I still love the mood that you captured.

Nice colors. Looks like a love scene in a movie: all's you need is a couple sitting on the bench, obivious to anyone around them... Might be a little sharper, but that's OK. Nice how you didn't silhouette the exposure.

I want to be there, sitting on that bench and hearing the small waves meeting the dock's supports and maybe the clunking of a boat at it's berth. You've captured a great mood and beatuiful colors. The shapes you've carved out of the lake and dock are interesting and make for a good abstract composition. The only change you might consider is rotating since the slight tilt to the right of the horizon is probably accentuated by the angle of the dock's edge.

Lovely composition and colours.Somebody sitting on the bench looking and thinking might have improved it.

    Re: Dock

overall nice peaceful feel and composition. the sun and bench create a nice tension between them to balance the composition.

for improvement, IMHO, i would have takin the shot from a lower angle to assure that the top of the bench was higher then the landscape background. as it is, the bench top 'merges' with the background.
