Critique my first attempt at my website!!

Site looks nice enough, easy to navigate. From an SEO perspective the frames and flash are going to hurt you some if trying to get your name out there.

I just made a new site myself (2nd redo for me) so I know how nice it is to have a outsiders perspective....and I will try my best to be completely honest with you.....

Just looking at the site now and the first 'intro' page took about 2 minutes for me to download.. if I was not looking at this for critique, I probably would have closed it and looked elsewhere, only because of the time.
The entertainment page was a little confusing, and well, basically, kind of boring. Maybe adding a shot of the band that you have giving the comment?? Or just something to spice it up a little....
Finding navigating through you photos a little confusing, the main part is fine (going to photo archive and then to the category) but then trying to get back was confusing and I ended up somewhere else! lol
Went into the animal category and went through some of the pictures(love the giraffe) but had some trouble with getting the pictures to load... they were going really slow and some wouldn't come up unless I waited 30 or more seconds......
Also, not sure if it was intended to be seen, or not but the "The Hoi Polloi" link has a curse word in the name....... noticed it right away and that may turn people off a little.
In the 'photo archives' you also have two links that say Drw Images.......
Your 'order print' and 'contact' links are not working.....

That was the main things I noticed..... I hope it helps!

I liked the first page. Very creative and inviting. Second page needs art. May I suggest best images of corresponding links listed. drwimages didn't work for me. Each page should have some design elements.
Navagating was fast for me, but I'm hooked to cable, which is many times faster than DSL and about 100 times faster than dial-up, so I think the SEO advice from Jet and the advice from Katz is most valuable, because the majority of people are still crawling along on dial-up, yet their patience is short.

I am a web guy, so this is right up my alley...

1. Main image needs resized...it is currently 1.8 MB and takes way too long to load

2. I don't think you need the blue border since there is only 1 image on the page, so you know what to click.

3. Do not use default fonts for the website. Use Tahoma, Verdana, or any number of other typical fonts. Make sure that the font is one of the typical fonts on Windows and Apple computers.

4. The left navigation for the site needs some work...other than font it needs space between the text and the box.

^^ his telling the truth + on the left sidebar the black BG is kinda off. other than that nice job man i like it. like the other guy say it's easier to navigate and not alot of crap going on.

it sets up like that title up top that subs on the left , basic but it works
