    Creepy Crawlys

    Some shots of a garden spider outside of my house. Shot with the new Sony Alpha w/ kit lense (18-70mm). Critique away.

    Wow, great shots!
    The colors really jump out and you captured the essence of the spider really well

    All that is gold does not glitter,
    Not all those who wander are lost;
    The old that is strong does not wither,
    Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
    From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
    A light from the shadows shall spring;
    Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
    The crownless again shall be king.

    I think the image of the spider and his shadow is really neat. Too bad it wasn't facing your direction. I don't know if it matters too much though with bug pictures to get the face of the critter or not, you'll have to ask Loupey about that. The third one is also nice but not as interesting to me compositionally. Cool Crawleys!

    It matters if they smile!
