    creek photos

    I find that its real hard to capture good creek photos.Let me know what you think. Dustin

    I like how you have the water not completely frozen but also not in that really soft appearance from a long exposure.
    I think this would work better if it was a wider view. I think it is too tight as is but that's just a personal opinion.

    Not much I can offer in the way of critique, as I have problems shooting water myself. I like the attempt, though. Keep trying.

    I agree with Frog, a little wider might be an improvement. The first shot looks like it would be perfect for the Orton effect.

    if you use a smaller aperture you can slow your speed up without overexposing the shot...slowing the water down. I think you need something else in the picture , overhanging tree, boulder etc to help with the scale and general composition.

    I like the lines of the water in the first one.It would be really good if there was something for those lines to lead you to.
    In the second I like the background and the overall perspective of the shot , but once again nothing all that interesting to look at in the shot.
