Well after getting a new Macro lens you knew I'd have to post one.
Shot at F/32 ISO 100 and 3 sec exposure. Shot on black cloth with glass for the reflection.

Lens used was the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro

Interesting place you focused on. The leading edge and the reflection are nicely sharp but it gets soft quickly.

Do you have an image where you focused on the center of the chip?

Nice shot overall, but the back area being out of focus like that bothers me a bit.. I would crop off the top 1/5 or 1/4 of the image, which would really make it more abstract. I might also bump up the contrast a bit to make the black area really black. Otherwise, very interesting photo here..

Thanks for your input MB1 and GB1. I am still learning to control the DOF on this lens. When I focused on the center everything else was out of focus. This was the best shot. Still learning.
