    Cowgirl relaxing- redone

    Well I had another go at this shot and I like it, but it looked a tad overexposed, so tonight I had another go at it.
    First image, I did this one just an auto color, auto level, and auto contrast, then I think I did a color cast removal.


    Second image,
    This one I took a little more time. Since I have the original .cr2 file.

    I messed up caused I didn't keep notes on what I did to it.


    All comments welcome, and thanks for looking.

    #2 has some better color in the overall setting, but the girl looks rather dark. I'd mask her out if you can to use the exposure of her from #1.
    mostly Nikon gear

    Nice setup and final product, though I do agree w/ thecounsel that the face could be brought out a bit more. I'd do it by making a lasso selection around the face with a wide feather (50px +) and pasting it on a new layer using screen mode to bring up the exposure without changing the color.
