Not enough to the first one, Don, but I like the second.
I think you should try to darken the highlights and the washed out areas might get more detail.

I agree, the white coat is EXTRA white, either darken a touch or just go over the coat and baseball cap with a burn brush at very low opacity (5-10%) and the second shot is a keeper.
