nice calm scene

i like how the big tree on the right frames the horse and the house

I think I would crop a bit from the bottom and from the left, to get the horse off center

the light is quite even , and does not help much

if this is a place you can visit often , or near where you live, I'll try to shoot earlier or later, close to sunrise sunset, that would give a more dramatic light , I think there is plenty to experiment and try to get very nice photos

Thanks Armando for your comments. I took this picture while vacationing (Virginia USA) . The sky was rather dull unfortunately. I agree with you about the cropping. Will try it.
