    Cottage And Shed

    A while now since I was out with the camera but this is one from my outing last weekend.
    Comments and criticisms invited as usual.

    I like it and the crows really add to a sense of desolation.
    I do wish you'd moved right and got some separation between the buildings.

    Very seldom do I think that power lines work but with the birds I think you pulled it off. I like the high contrast and the cross shape in the front window. You might consider cloning the distant power poles but it is a small detail. Nice Tom, good eye.

    Frog; Your observation concerning separation between the buildings is accurate and I would have preferred some space there too. I came back to this spot a couple of times only to find a lorry parked by the gable of the cottage and it remained there all day. Many thanks Frog.

    I agree with Greg that the pwer lines and birds really add to the whole feel here and also the cloud formations moving through the sky. I too agree with Frog about the separation of the buildings, but still an interesting scene.
