    Thumbs up Cosmos

I think I may have oversharpened this a bit in an attempt to get the right flower center in focus. Probably should try to re-take with more dof.

    Thoughts or comments?

    Thanks,

    Phil G.

Can someone tell me how to turn off the smiley face????

It is also very dark on my monitor also. Due to the darkness there is no pop and the detail suffers from the lack of light.

    Re: Cosmos

Aside from the darkness, I always have a problem with petals running off frame unless its a macro shot or other compositional considerations come into play.
The composition is quite good otherwise.

I think the sharpening is good. They just need a touch of brightness.

Lightened it a bit as suggested. Better?

I was prepared for a photo of Carl Sagan getting baked in his imagery spaceship, but this'll do.

The last edit is perfect on my monitor. The image itself is lovely.
