I love it, the light on the water is really effective and the gradient in the sky is stunning.
It is a shame that the palm trees are a little unsharp due to movement and I would prefer the jetty not to be cut off on the right hand side.

I think the angle you have taken this from is also really effective, it appears that you are in the water which adds interest to the shot.

    Re: Coronado

Thank you Herriot, I am pleased to say that the sky is essentially right out of the camera. It was pretty windy, so it was difficult to get a sharp image of the trees; I actually tried to darken them just a tad so the softness didn’t stand out too much. As for the dock, I wish I could get the entire thing in, its just the city lights across the bay blend in and you can’t tell where the dock ends anyway so I decided to cut it off.

It's a very nice, and satisfying capture.

Hey Matt, it looks good to me here. I now wish there were a few canoes on the sand in the lower left. The soft reflections (and their color) work for me, looks a bit like a luau.

The "blue hour" is a magical time to shoot and you've captured that magic. I love the colors, the starburst and smooth water. I agree, this is a great angle...my eye is lead from the shore to the jetty.

I thought I commented on this already.

I like it. I love shooting at this time of night also. Lovely blues. Reflections are smooth. only thing that bothers me a tad bit is the overexposed sand on the left side. It's a little too strong. other than that, it's great.

I love the colors and light reflection on the water. I see editing artifacts all around the palm trees.

    Re: Coronado

Thanks guys, I always appreciate good feedback.

geraldb, "editing artifacts?" It was rather windy so the long exposure made the trees VERY blurry or "soft" can you elaborate more, maybe I can fix it.
